GLOSSY HAWTHORN Crataegusnitida (Engelm. ex Britton & N.E.Br.) Sarg.
Crataegus nitida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan glossy hawthorn. Nama ilmiah Crataegus nitida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Engelmann pada tahun 1901.
