Crepis monticola merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Oregon hingga California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mountain hawksbeard. Nama ilmiah Crepis monticola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Vernon Coville pada tahun 1896.
