Crocus angustifolius merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Ukraina selatan,to Krym. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cloth of gold. Nama ilmiah Crocus angustifolius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Weston pada tahun 1771.
