Croton argyrophyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Guyana dan Brazil. Nama ilmiah Croton argyrophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1817.
