Croton bernieri merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar utara dan barat laut. Nama ilmiah Croton bernieri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1861.
