Croton craspedotrichus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba barat (termasuk Pulau de la Juventud). Nama ilmiah Croton craspedotrichus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1865.
