Croton dracunculoides merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Croton dracunculoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1864.
