Croton fruticulosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona tenggara hingga Texas barat daya dan Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bush croton. Nama ilmiah Croton fruticulosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1859.
