Croton glomeratus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Madagaskar timur laut. Nama ilmiah Croton glomeratus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Émile Augustin de Candolle pada tahun 1901.
