Croton glutinosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais, Bahia). Nama ilmiah Croton glutinosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1873.
