Croton gracilescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Tocantins hingga Mato Grosso). Nama ilmiah Croton gracilescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1865.
