Croton greveanus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Croton greveanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1890.
