Croton heliotropiifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko, Amerika tengah, Brazil, hingga Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Croton heliotropiifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1817.
