Croton holtonii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Croton holtonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1865.
