Croton joufra

Croton joufra Roxb.

Croton joufra merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bhutan hingga China (Yunnan tenggara) dan Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Croton joufra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Roxburgh pada tahun 1832.
