Croton lanatus var. astrogynus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). Nama ilmiah Croton lanatus var. astrogynus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 2007.
