Croton lanatus var. lorentzii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina (Córdoba, Entre Rios). Nama ilmiah Croton lanatus var. lorentzii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 2007.
