Croton nitrariifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Uruguay. Nama ilmiah Croton nitrariifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1864.
