Croton polot adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Croton polot pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicolaas Laurens Burman pada tahun 1768.
