Croton sclerocalyx adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil tengah hingga Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Croton sclerocalyx pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Didrik Ferdinand Didrichsen pada tahun 1865.
