Croton scouleri merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Galápagos. Nama ilmiah Croton scouleri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1847.
