Croton suassunae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil timur laut (hingga Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Croton suassunae pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 2020.
