Croton tenellus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Croton tenellus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1873.
