Croton vaccinioides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Croton vaccinioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1850.
