Cryptantha foliosa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering. Nama ilmiah Cryptantha foliosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1887.
