Cryptantha macrocalyx adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Chili utara. Nama ilmiah Cryptantha macrocalyx pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1907.
