Cryptantha maritima merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan guadalupe cryptantha. Nama ilmiah Cryptantha maritima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1887.
