Cryptocapnos chasmophytica merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Papaveraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afghanistan selatan. Nama ilmiah Cryptocapnos chasmophytica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1967.
