Cryptocarya cavei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Darjiling. Nama ilmiah Cryptocarya cavei pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 2002.
