Cryptocarya retusa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Cryptocarya retusa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 2008.
