Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan) yang dapat tumbuh di media tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra Barat. Nama ilmiah Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Wilhelm Schott pada tahun 1863.
