Cryptocoryne scurrilis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan) yang dapat tumbuh di media tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Cryptocoryne scurrilis pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1962.
