Ctenitis ampla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Ctenitis ampla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander von Humboldt pada tahun 1940.
