Cuphea acicularis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Cuphea acicularis diperkenalkan oleh Bernhard Adalbert Emil Koehne pada tahun 1897.
