Taiwan beauty adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Cuphea hyssopifolia ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Cuphea hyssopifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1824.
Cuphea hyssopifolia f. subrevoluta Koehne Cuphea hyssopifolia var. brachyphylla Griseb. Cuphea rivularis Seem. Cuphea sunubana Lourteig Parsonsia hyssopifolia (Kunth) Standl.
