Cuphea leptopoda adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Cuphea leptopoda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Botting Hemsley pada tahun 1880.
