Cuphea racemosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Cuphea racemosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1825.
