Cuphea reitzii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Santa Catarina). Nama ilmiah Cuphea reitzii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alicia Lourteig pada tahun 1964.
