Cuphea retrorsicapilla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil tengah. Nama ilmiah Cuphea retrorsicapilla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bernhard Adalbert Emil Koehne pada tahun 1877.
