Cuphea urens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Cuphea urens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bernhard Adalbert Emil Koehne pada tahun 1902.
