Curculigo pilosa subsp. major merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Hypoxidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Curculigo pilosa subsp. major pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1997.
