Cuscuta globulosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan holoparasit dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan) yang siklus hidupnya selesai hanya dalam satu musim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko, Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan west indian dodder. Nama ilmiah Cuscuta globulosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1845.
