Cyanotis lapidosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Cyanotis lapidosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edwin Percy Phillips pada tahun 1928.
