Cyathea horrida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kosta Rika, Venezuela, Peru, hingga Karibia. Nama ilmiah Cyathea horrida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Edward Smith pada tahun 1793.
