Cyathea mexiae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Cyathea mexiae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edwin Bingham Copeland pada tahun 1932.
