Cyathea rufescens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru (Cerro Guayrapurina). Nama ilmiah Cyathea rufescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Heinrich Mettenius pada tahun 1929.
