Cyathea simplex merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Venezuela (Amazonas: Cerro Yutajé). Nama ilmiah Cyathea simplex pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rolla Milton Tryon, Jr. pada tahun 1976.
