Cymbopogon refractus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia utara dan timur, Pulau Norfolk. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan barbwire grass. Nama ilmiah Cymbopogon refractus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Brown pada tahun 1921.
