Cynodon barberi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India selatan, Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Cynodon barberi pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1916.
