Cypella aquatilis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil selatan. Nama ilmiah Cypella aquatilis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierfelice Ravenna pada tahun 1981.
